About Us
Mitosis Digital Technologies Ltd was formed in October 2019 by David Milne and Tony Beamish, who cumulatively have over 50 years design and construction experience in the oil and gas industry.
Mitosis provides digital construction consultancy services to the energy sector. We specialise in 4D construction visualisation for greenfield, brownfield and turnaround projects.
The company aims to fill a gap in the market by enabling assets and projects to validate, visualise and optimise construction schedules in the 4D space.

Tony Beamish
Tony started his career as a Mechanical Draughtsman using a propelling pencil and parallel motion!
In the early 90s, he progressed to specialising in 3D Instrument Design, working on FEED and Detail Design projects for offshore and onshore plants, moving to site on many, providing construction support.
After working for several owner operators as a 3D model system and layout specialist, Tony moved into 4D construction utilising Synchro software. He now applies his combined design and construction experience to clients’ projects, identifying limiting factors in models and schedules to help improve the path of construction and deliver a safe project, on time and within budget.
Digital Consultant
Dave Milne
With over 25 years design, engineering and construction experience, Dave transitioned from Electrical Design to 3D model support and information management applications in 2012.
He now delivers 4D construction visualisation solutions including path of construction simulations, schedule optimisation for critical asset turnarounds/shutdowns, health and safety analysis and work front visualisation for simultaneous operations such as lifting, logistics, permit control and working at height.
In essence, his goal is to help clients deliver safe and efficient projects.

Denise Milne
A stickler for detail, Denise keeps a close eye on everything Mitosis!
With a background in IT, office management and technical authoring, Denise ensures the smooth running of Mitosis operations on a daily basis.
